John G. Thrasher Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John G. Thrasher (Monticello, Florida), who passed away at the age of 88, on September 8, 2024. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Thrasher and Hazel Thrasher. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Osborne Thrasher; his daughters, Joy Thrasher Murphy and Lisa Thrasher Lunn; his grandsons, Michael Chance Lunn (Amber) and Zachary Adam Lunn; his great grandchild Lawson Lunn; his sister Jenny; and also Donald J. Lunn.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Oakfield Cemetery (2462 Waukeenah Hwy, Monticello, FL 32344).
