He was predeceased by: his wife Linnie Earl Carnley; and his siblings, Marvin Carnley, Carrell Carnley, Ivey Nick Carnley, Lucille Tedder, Margaret Allen and Corine Beaty.
He is survived by: his parents, Ira Carnley and Mattie Clyde Carnley (Harrison); his daughters, Shirley Mitchell and Janice Carnley; his great grandchildren, Dezerai Duke, Mailyn Duke, Eli Mitchell and Makaila Mitchell; and his sister Essie Kirkland. He is also survived by his grandson, daughter in-law and great grandchildren.
