He was predeceased by: his parents, Elon Gay and Thelma Gay; and his siblings, Tony Gay, Donald Gay and Barbara Rawls.

He is survived by: his daughters, Renea Daniel (Mark) and Kristie Faircloth (Steve); and his grandchildren, Erica (Caleb), Jasey (Amber), Dustin (Britney), Miranda (Charles), Amber (Ronnie), Mark (Samantha) and Austin. He is also survived by his family and friends.
