He was predeceased by: his parents, James N. Trippe (Jack) and Inez Trippe; and his sister Sandra Trippe. He is survived by: his children, Vanita Trippe (Byron Meade) of Austin, Texas, Kyle Trippe (Karen) of Rainbow City, Alabama and Clark Trippe (late Sharon); his grandchildren, Kyla Trippe, Chase Trippe, Colleen Meade-Hayslip, Craig Meade, Jackson Meade, Ryan Sherrod and Nikki Sherrod; and his great grandchildren, Axel, Tanner, Leland, Landon, Lincoln, Wyatt, Noah, Bo, Tuker, Layne and Katelyn.
Until Covid, they regularly attended class reunions in Alabama.
