He was predeceased by: his parents, Rajkumarie Basdeo (Margaret) and Laloo; and his siblings, Dexter, Kalyan, Sissy, Baby, Data and Pearly.

He is survived by: his wife Surdai; his children, Rajo (Iris), Ganesh (Darshanie), Mahesh, Suresh (Anno), Babita (Danny), Buddy (Mala), Lalita (Chaito), Parsuram (Lynette), Vishnu (Nina), Dato and Birdy; his siblings, Prem (late Jagdai), Ronald (Murl), Kulase (late Sunnalall) and Abilack; his grandchildren, Ravi, Natasha, Naomi, Nick, Jessica, Ryan, Ashley, Stephanie, Emily, Sunil, Naresh, Karishma, Keeshan, Kareena and Adesh; and his great grandchildren, Briana, Angelie, Amanda, Eliana, Kaden, Athena, Reign, Genia and Lylah. He is also survived by many Loving Nieces and Nephews.
