He is survived by: his daughter Samantha Ard Strickland of Florence, SC; his sisters, Lisa Ard Evans (Steve) of Darlington, SC and Amy Ard Joiner (Rodney) of Deltona, FL; his grandchildren, Kelsey Strickland and Dalton Strickland of Florence, SC; his nieces, Sheena Ray Evans (Tyler) of Effingham, SC and Jessica Dawn Evans; and his great-nephews, Landon Evans, Banner Melton, Cade Erwin of Effingham, SC and Archer Evans.
