He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne L. Hornsby, Sr. and Helen Hornsby; his brother Melvin; and his son Wayne Pete. He is survived by: his sisters, Aretta and Floretta; his children, Joyce (Richard), Connie and Rick (Joy); and his grandchildren, Racheal (Chris), Jason, Thomas (Christine), Erin, Tyler, Lefty, Amanda, Stacey, Katelyn, Winky (Nick) and Ava.
