He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Moran and George Furis. He is survived by: his wife Lee Furis; his children, Cathy Hague, Jim Furis (Annese), Lisa Stewart (Tim), Donna Wood, Mitch Madden (Chente) and Dawn Madden; and his grandchildren, Chris Whitley, Shelley Lynn, Jesse Briscoe, Bethany Miller, Caitlin Briscoe, Alex Furis, Zane Furis, Jessi Fielder, Rebekah Fielder, Hannah Fielder, Zach Stewart, Steven Stewart, Amanda Stewart, Kyle Shirley, Thea van Gool, Anneliese van Gool and Gillian van Gool. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery (5525 US-1, Mims, FL 32754). A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (600 S Tropical Trail, Merritt Island, Florida 32952, United States).
