She was predeceased by: her father John McGowen; her husband Jesse Eugene Holmes; her parent Adell Livingston; her sister Tonia Greathouse; her in-laws, Grady and Iva Lee Holmes; and her siblings-in-law, Benjamin, Arzo, Spencer, Jimmy Holmes and Karen Adkinson.
She is survived by: her daughter Taria Whitfield (Douglas) of Milton, Florida; her granddaughters, Shelley Jones (Kevin) of Pace and Cameron Lorge (Maxwell) of Dickinson; her great grandchildren, Logan, Alden, Emerson and Avery; her siblings, Carol Ann, Peggy, Tamsie and Jimmie Dean; and her sisters-in-law, Betty and Katherine. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lewis Funeral Home Milton Chapel (6405 US-90, Milton, FL 32570). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
