With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter Albert Kemp Jr. (Milton, Florida), born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 20, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Walter Albert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Walter Albert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary "Sue" Kemp; and his daughter Nancy Kemp Cook (Betty Mullins). He is survived by: his children, Eugene Kemp of Phoenix, AZ, Keota Kemp Lovett of Lillian, AL, Jodi Kemp Gipson of Hattiesburg, MS and Toni Kemp Smirniotis of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren.
