He was predeceased by: his mother Dorthy "Dot" Tarpley; and his stepfather Charles "Chuck" Tarpley. He is survived by: his wife Mary Foster; his brothers, Allen Foster (Elizabeth) and Dwight Foster (Delaine); his children, Michael Foster (Amanda), Donnie Foster (Lois), Katie Polk (Chris) and Carrie Fisher (Craig); and his grandchildren, Quentin Nordby (Brionna), Ella Fisher and Harper Fisher.
