With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Collins (Milton, Florida), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 22, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Shepard D Johnson and Lillie Gertude Johnson; her son Xterpher McBride; and her siblings, Donald S., Ronald C., Calvin R., David A., Evans Johnson, Sr., Jessie A. Bell Jr., Ricky Earl Bell, Debra A. Bell and Joyce Johnson.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Christopher McBride, Xavier Chris Allen and Dominique Blount; her great grandchild Ava Wilson; her goddaughter Sandy Adams; her sisters, Sally Ann Brewton and Dianne J. Cobb; her cousins, Mary Thomas and Marylin Hogan; her children, Rhonda Brewton, Calvin Johnson (Ray), Darrell Brewton, Mitchell Cash, Marilyn Bowman, Rosie Hudson, Patricia Walker and Danny Bowers; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ke'Chawndra Daley (Weda), Parris Todd, Iman Brewton, Dajuan O'Quendo, Louis Jackson IIII (Tooter) and Tim Brewton; and her close friends, Clauzell Farrow, Donna and Michael Riley. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Prayer House of God. A burial was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at the Milton Keyser Cemetery (5155 Chavers St, Milton, FL 32570).
