She was predeceased by: her parents, Julia Ann Sullivan and Jack Beecher Matthews; her husband Jerry Laughbaum; and her siblings, Jimmy Collyer, Stephen Matthews and Fairy Jackie Taylor.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Gifford (Curtis), Tina Matthews (Roger, Sr.) and Sheila Semmler (Robert Archer, Jr); her grandchildren, Karl, Cynthia, Amanda Gifford, Chelsea Westover (Colton), Roger Matthews, Jr. (Danielle), Kristina White (Jedd), Matthew Matthews, Hannah Adams (Blake), Madeline, Violet, Vivienne Matthews and Brandon Kelly; and her siblings, Peggy Simmons, Patsy Stewart, Renee Bell of Ohio and Clay Matthews of Tennessee. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces.
