In the vast expanse of eternity, Myrtle Louise shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Myrtle Louise farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her sisters, Mary Etta Cox and Lola Ann Comans of Navarre, Florida.. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Checkley; her son Avery Michael Brown (Margaret) of Milton, Florida; and her stepdaughters, Beth Dreves (Dan) of Clermont and Jennifer Ferrigno of Canterbury, Connecticut. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Home Navarre Chapel (7794 Navarre Pkwy, Navarre, FL 32566). A rosary was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
