With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Jo Ford Bland of Milton, Florida, born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Agnes A. Bautts Ford; her husband Kenneth R. Bland, Sr.; her father Wayne Ford; and her sister Jean Ann Ford Perry. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth R. Bland, Jr. (Kay) of Little Rock, AR and Becky Bland Anderson (Mark) of Suffolk, VA; her grandchildren, Rick Anderson (Christen) and Carrie Barbier (Luke); her great grandchildren, Abby Anderson, Clara Anderson, Riley Barbier and Nora Barbier; and her brother John (Sara) of Rogers, Arkansas.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lewis Funeral Home Milton Chapel (6405 US-90, Milton, FL 32570). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Mary Jo's honor to Pine Terrace Baptist Church, 6212 Pine Blossom Road, Milton, Florida 32570. Keep Mary's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
