She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Body and Lucy Nell Body; and her husband Charles Turner. She is survived by: her children, Cecil Downing (Darlene) of Jacksonville, FL, Paul Downing of Altus, OK, Lunette Russell of Tallahassee, FL, Leroy Downing of Milton, FL, Vanessa Pace (Charles) of Milton, FL, Lorenzo Downing (Wenda) of Milton, FL, Lawrence Downing of Milton, FL, Angelia Walker (Earl) of Milton, FL and Carl Turner (Glenda) of Milton, FL; her brothers, James Walker (Pat) of Milton, FL and Henry Wilson of Pensacola, FL; and her brother-in-law Frank Turner of Pensacola, FL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and cherished godchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. Pilgrim African Missionary Baptist Church (5103 Doctor M. L. K. Jr Dr, Milton, FL 32570). A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the Milton Keyser Cemetery (5155 Chavers St, Milton, FL 32570).
She would donate them to charitable organizations.
