He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sanders and Marie Rodgers; his brothers, Charles and Gerald Sanders; and his grandson Gary Lippincott.
He is survived by: his wife Lana Adams Sanders; his daughters, Michelle Spann (Jeff) and Melody Bell (Dee); his grandchildren, Adam Spann (Dana), Kaleb Spann (Caitlin), Erin Lippincott (Dylan Kimmons), Evan Bell (Sarah) and Micah Spann; his great grandchildren, Jeffrey, Layla, Sadie, Charlotte, Kinsley and Eli Spann; his sister Euna Joseph; his sisters-in-law, Mary Katherine Griffis and Helen Sanders; and his close friend Jim Bradly.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Grace Methodist Church (4540 Chumuckla Highway, Pace, Florida 32571). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Grace Methodist Church of Pace (4540 Chumuckla Hwy, Pace, FL 32571). A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Milton Cemetery (6738 Dixon St, Milton, FL 32570).
