It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Yvonne Nowicki (Milton, Florida), born in Gaastra, Michigan, who passed away on June 27, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father John Piwarski; her grandsons, Nicholas and Zachary Burt; her parents-in-law, Bruno and Sally Nowicki; and her brother-in-law Dennis Nowicki.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Nowicki of Chicago, IL.; her daughters, Cheryl Burt of Rochester, MN, Cyndi Pennington (Jeff) of Chumuckla, FL and Caryn Shelp (Ed) of Clearwater, FL; her grandchildren, Sami Habayeb (Megan) of Pensacola, FL, Ryan Burt of Roseville, MN, Adam Habayeb of Pensacola, FL, Kaitlyn Brooks (Austin) of Clearwater, FL and Kasey Shelp of Clearwater, FL; her great grandchild Audrina Habayeb of Pensacola, FL; her brothers, James "Jimmy" Piwarski of Waterford, MI and Jerome "Jerry" Piwarski (Linda) of Perry, KS; and her sister-in-law CeCe Nowicki of Kalamazoo, MI. She is also survived by nephews, nieces and cousins.
