It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George W Goggans (Milton, Florida), who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Goggans and Cora Goggans; and his son-in-law Pat Doman. He is survived by: his wife Emma Louise Whitfield; his children, Kathy Doman of Pensacola, Lynne Miller of Phoenix, AZ, Dianne (Rob Secola) of Pensacola, George Goggans, Jr. of New Orleans and Stacey Parks (Don Prather) of Oakland, CA; his grandchildren, Jamie Secola (Adam Davis), Henry Miller, Charles Miller, Jane Miller, Paul Miller and Everett Doman; his great grandchildren, Abram Robert Davis and Elias George Davis; and the mother of his children Janice Watts.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Home (6405 US-90, Milton, FL 32570). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Home Milton Chapel (6405 US-90, Milton, FL 32570).
The family requests that no flowers be sent but if you desire, donating to the Arbor Day Foundation will honor George, who loved trees—identifying them, sitting in his tree stand among them, and finding peace being around them.
