It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Millard Sims of Milton, Florida, born in Pensacola, Florida, who passed away on June 13, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Franklin and Pearl Veatrice Sims; and his siblings, Annabelle Poston, Veatrice Bennett, Mary Sims, Paul Sims, Monroe Sims and David Sims.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Sims; his son Charlie Sims (Shonna); his brother Joe Sims (Ada); and his parents-in-law, Linda Simmons, Rita Turk, Kathy, Bobby Stokes and Ada Sims. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
