He is survived by: his wife Catherine Nelson of Jay; his daughter Sherrie Joyner (Roy); his grandchildren, Dennis Joyner (Alexis), Baylen Wilson and Rebecca Joyner; his siblings, Ralph Nelson, Jerry Nelson (Gloria) and Judia Ates; and his close friends, Fred, Barbara Armand and Patsy Lloyd. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
