He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Davis; his brothers, Charlie Davis and Tommy Davis; his nephews, Kevin Marlow, Tommy Davis, Jr. and Terry Burress; and his niece Sherry Burress.
He is survived by: his sons, R. J. Davis and Brian McCormick (Megan); and his sisters, Elizabeth Brooks (John), Alice Burress, Laura Marlow and Mary Disney. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
