She was predeceased by: her parents, Vinson Smith and Lottie Raughton; her husband Francis V Moss; her son Mark Moss; her husband Harold Leggett; her daughter Pamela Andrews; and her siblings, Voncil, Priscilla and Kenneth Smith.
She is survived by: her brother Ricky Smith; her daughter Kimberly Rose (Virginia) of Fredericksburg; her grandchildren, Emily Rodgers, Nicholas Rose and Victoria Rose; her son Michael Moss of Pensacola, Florida; and her grandchildren, Mari and Erin Andrews of Pascagoula, Mississippi. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In accordance with her wishes, the family suggests that those wishing to honor her memory make contributions to St. Jude or Shriners Children's Hospital.
