It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James William Allen Sr. of Midway, Florida, born in Bartow, Georgia, who passed away on May 26, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Allen and Mary Lizzie Mimbs Allen; and his son James William "Jimbo" Allen Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Lora Allen of Midway; his sons, Jerry Allen (Dale) of Brunswick and John Allen (Vicki) of Midway; his daughter-in-law Judy Allen of Rye, Colo.; and his sister Dorothy Brierton (Brian) of Tampa, Fla.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
