She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jackson and Lettie Hollingsworth Dowdy; her husband James Carlos Branch; her daughter Carla Kaye Branch Francis; and her siblings, Glenn Dowdy, Edward Dowdy of Grady Dowdy, W. T, Ruth Dowdy Moore, Buford Dowdy and Lounell Dowdy Dorminey.
She is survived by: her son James "Mitch" Branch (Shelley) of Middleburg, Florida; her grandchildren, Derek Cheves, Kelly Bombriant (Chester Sr.), Kristiana Thompson (Corey) and Eleni Ball (Bill); and her great grandchildren, Chester Bombriant Jr., Jordan Beam, Taylor Cheves, Nadia Thompson, Sierra Thompson, Billy Ball, Zoe Ball and Jason Ball. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Poulan Cemetery (275 E Church St, Poulan, GA 31781).
