He is survived by: his wife Charlene Mercer; his siblings, Fauline Mercer, Jessie Mercer, Edna Lloyd and Elma Hand; his stepsons, Kevin Privett and Roger Akers; his children, Michael Mercer, Brenda Cain (Alan Cain) and Karen Kreis (Rob Kreis); his brother Frank Mercer; and his grandchildren, Lori Pope, Christopher Conner, Allen McGuire, Kyle Cogburn, Evan Cogburn, Mindy Mercer, Lauren Mercer, Richie Mercer, Danny Wood and Kevin May. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
