He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Gillis and Edna Mae Gillis; and his brother Johnny. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his son Michael; his grandchildren, Lindsay and Brendan; and his daughter-in-law Gretta.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jacksonville Memory Gardens (111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL 32073). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
