He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ellen Vail; his parents, Woodrow Wilson and Jewell Jones Hogan; and his siblings, Wilson Earl Hogan, Walter Carl Hogan and Lila Faye Teague.
He is survived by: his children, David Wayne Hogan (Leisa), Brenda Lynn Smith (Michael), Susan Gail Johnson (Joe) and Michael Scott Hogan (Janet); and his stepsons, Stephen Charles Hopper (Brenda) and David Alan Hopper (Jennifer). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home (510 S Illinois Ave, Harrisburg, AR 72432). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
