We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2024, at the age of 81, Jose Gilberto Hernandez of Middleburg, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Jose Gilberto farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jose Gilberto is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosa Elena Pineda and Alonzo Hernandez; his grandparents, Baltazar Pineda and Juana Sorto; his daughter Maggie; and his sister Lilian.
He is survived by: his wife Hilda Hernandez; his daughter Arlette Price; his son-in-law Kirk Price; his grandchildren, Lexi and Samuel Price; and his son Alex.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jacksonville Memory Gardens (111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL 32073). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church (9401 Staples Mill Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32244).
