He is survived by: his wife Marion Martin McBride; his brothers, Samuel Jr. and Donald; his stepchildren, Janice McLain, Richard Martin (Rebecca) and Bobbie Martin (Melody); and his cousin Melvina Annis (Frank Maurice). He is also survived by eight step-grandchildren.
