He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Gesell and Dorothy Gesell (Bollhorst); and his granddaughter Britany Gibbons. He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his sons, Jerry Gesell, Jr. (Mary) of Middleburg, Florida and Timothy Gesell (Jennifer) of Middleburg, Florida; his siblings, Judy Mahon (Jack) of Salem and John Gesell (Christy) of Farina; and his grandchildren, Erin Gesell of Middleburg and Jacob Gesell of Middleburg. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
