He was predeceased by : his grandparents, George Clarkson, Ernest House and Annie House. He is survived by : his parents, David Clarkson and Joan Clarkson; his wife Cassie; his children, Georgia, James, Jackson and Christian; his sister Nicki Clarkson; and his grandmother Joan Clarkson. He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews.

“I remember Jason quite well. He interviewed me along with other people during his time working at Avis/Budget group at Jacksonville, Florida Airport location. That's how I met him for the only time. He didn't mind voicing out how much he supported me during the process which was rare in today's job market. Although I didn't get the job, I'm glad to have known Jason.”
