She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Ayers and John Ayers; her husband Skip Stewart; her siblings, Tony, Arty Ayers, Nina Mae Hatcher, Diane Savage and Patsy Eaton; and her nephew Christopher Ayers.
She is survived by: her close friend Chuckie McClendon; her children, Tabatha Melcolm (Kenny) and Arty Hinton; her granddaughters, Emma Melcolm, Rose (Squishy) and Lorelai Hinton (Peanut); and her siblings, Lee Ayers (Cherie) and Annette Ayers. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
