He was predeceased by: his father Lewis Henning; his stepfather Edward Matelsky; his sister Kay Penny; and his half-brother Danny Henning. He is survived by: his wife Honey Bee (Betty); his children, Rick Henning (Amy), Tim Henning (Amy) and Tammy Check (Ross); his sisters, Pam Hodges Matelsky (late Skip), Jane Matelsky, Dianne Matelsky and Marie Smith; his grandchildren, Jason Henning (Nikki), Zach Henning (Jiin), Conor Check, Nathan Check, Macy Henning, Timothy Henning and Mason Henning; and his great grandchildren, Lydia, Chandler, Nahum, Finley and Josiah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
