He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt Prather and Margaret Prather; his son Douglas Prather; and his siblings, Clifford Prather and Betty Prather.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Prather; his children, Timmy Prather (Sandy), Tammy Padgett (Tony) and Donna Farmer (Jess); his sister Kathleen Augusta; and his grandchildren, Justin H., Tyler, Hannah, Sunnie, Dylan, Justin F., Catie, Kelsay and Zach. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
