He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Garneau and Elizabeth Lane Garneau; and his former wife Colleen Garneau. He is survived by: his friend Pelican Bay; his wife Shawn M. Garneau of Micco, FL; his siblings, Dan Garneau of Dover, NH, Phil Garneau (Karen) of South Portland, ME and Elysa Donovan (Peter) of South Portland, ME; his daughters, Jessica Violette (Spencer), Kristy Walter (Andrew) and Lea Pollard (Brandon); his stepchildren, Dana Myles (Patrick) of Maine, Christopher Tait (Bianca) of Maine and Kevin Tait (Jessica) of Maine; and his former wife Karen Thomas of Gray. He is also survived by several grandchildren, step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in Shannon's memory to VITAS Inpatient Hospice of Rockledge, FL.
