He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wesley, Sr. Payton and Carrie Payton (Gill); his wife Mary Payon; his daughter Diane Payton Beard; his brother Johnny Payton; his children, Wesley Earnest Payton, Sr. (Mary) of Micanopy, FL and Shirley Payton of Micanopy, FL; his sisters, Maggie Walker, Gwendolyn Capers, Gloria Ellis (Timothy) and Mildred Brown; and his siblings-in-law, Talmar Patterson, Robert Lee Patterson (Diane), Gloria Buggs (Donnie), Geraldine Miller (Johnny), Daphne Galloway and Yvonne Patterson. He was also cherished by seven grand children; nine great-grand children; other relatives and caring friends.
Due to COVID-19, all in attendance are asked to please wear a facial covering.
