For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She is survived by: her parents, Wen-Shih Hwong and Shiu-Lian Hwong; her daughter Daniela M. Fernandez; her sister Chun-Wei Huang; her niece Isabella V. Fernandez; her nephews, Julian J. Fernandez and Marco W. Grill; and her brothers-in-law, Jose I. Fernandez and Jeffrey S. Grill.

At Shin's request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Marrow Donor Program in her honor.
