It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Joel Welbon (Miami, Florida), born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on September 15, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Robert Joel leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Robert Joel may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wittenborg Welbon and Ann Marie Welbon (Griffin). He is survived by: his wife Lori; his children, Katherine Wells (Jay), William Welbon (Jaymi) and Courtney Oliver (Gustavo); and his brothers, Bill Welbon (Alma) and Larry Welbon (Cathy). He is also survived by three grandchildren.

“Dearest Lori and all the family I am so sad to know of Bob's death. I loved Bob for so many reasons for so many years. He was my first Christian male friend and taught me a lot. So very thankful he is with Jesus and we will be with him again in Heaven. love you. Debbie Petersen”
