It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricky A. Heistand in Miami, Florida, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Deana Evans (Tudor); his stepfather Robert Evans; his father James Heistand; his aunts, Donna Johnson, Shirley Merker and Doris Egelhoff; and his cousins, Johnny and Staci.
He is survived by: his brother Benny P. Evans of Bailey, NC; and his cousins, Billy, Sharlene, Sherry Kay, Rodney and Alecia.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the McColaugh Massie Funeral Home, Inc. (826 N Detroit St, Xenia, OH 45385). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
