Edward Michael Weitz Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2024, at the age of 78, Edward Michael Weitz in Miami, Florida, born in Providence, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Weitz and Anna Weitz (Cohen). He is survived by: his sisters, Sandra Lynn and Susan Weitz; his former wife Linda Weitz; his children, Jordan Weitz (Robin) and Jamie Forrest (Matthew); his grandchildren, Maya, Aliya, Isaac and Johanna; his former wife Rosa Santiago; and also, Lauren and Jessie.

A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Lakeside Memorial Park and Funeral Home (10301 NW 25th St, Miami, FL 33172).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Shake-A-Leg Miami, a cause close to Edward's heart.
