It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donnie L. Saunders in Miami, Florida, born in Zuni, Virginia, who passed away on December 4, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Donnie leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Donnie may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Lucinda (Cook) and Moses Saunders; and his daughters, Ro Nita and Donnica.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at 6741 Chambersburg Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
He chose to make this unique donation to the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to The Dayton Foundation-Donnie Saunders Memorial Fund, #9187.
