She is survived by: her daughters, Sonzi Taylor and Katrina Gourdet; her son-in-law Jean Gourdet; her goddaughter Tiffany Johnson; her grandchildren, Simone A. Ferguson, Kurt D. Taylor Jr. and Devin L. Taylor; her sister Joan Deshazor; her aunt Mittie Bastian; and her uncle David Lennon. She is also survived by seven nephews; three nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.
