With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Connie L. Mitchell in Miami, Florida, born in Dayton, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 16, 2024 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hughes and Reverend Mary Hughes; her husband Clarence "Junior" Mitchell; and her daughter Brenda L. Gibson. She is survived by: her children, Denyse Tigner, Shawn Mitchell and Johnny Gibson; and her close friend Judy Shinn. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
