Rodolfo Saturnino Martinez Obituary

Rodolfo Saturnino Martinez, Loving husband, father, and grandfather went home to be with God on July 20, 2022 at age 91. Rodolfo was born on June 4, 1931 in the city of Marianao, Cuba, where he grew up with loving parents and seven siblings. He's is survived by his devoted wife of 66 years Mercedes Martinez, daughter Martha (Martina) Martinez, and sons Rodolfo (Rudy) Martinez and Francis (Frank) Martinez, his grandchildren Samuel (Sam) Cruz, Frank (Little Frankie) Martinez, Rodolfo (RJ) Martinez Jr. and finally Great-grandchildren, Julian and Oliver Cruz.

Rodolfo lived a life characterized by his love of family, and his generous interactions with friends and neighbors.

Rodolfo and Mercedes left communist Cuba with their precious young children, and came to the United States to forge a new life. Eventually, the family made their way to Yonkers, NY and the settled in Old Bridge, NJ where he worked (at Yonkers Plywood) and lived over 40 years until he retired to live with his loving wife Mercedes in Miami Lakes, Florida.

In short, his loving heart, hard work, and love of family was illuminated by everyone that knew him, and everything he did.

We will miss him dearly.

El Velorio / Visitation for Rodolfo will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 10:30am to 2:30pm at Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida 33405.

La Misa / Mass Last Blessing will occur at same location Quattlebaum Funeral Home.

In Conclusion; El Entierro / Burial will be held following the Velorio/ Funeral 3:00pm at Hillcrest Memorial Park -Mausoleum, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida 33405.
