She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Pablo Perez and Ines Perez; her husband Mario Soza; her siblings, Maria Haydee, Juan Pablo (Maria Rene) and Emilio (Alicia); her daughters, Norma (Nelson), Rita (Robert) and Julieta (Jack); her nieces, Xelny (Nelson) and Gabriela; her grandchildren, Natalie, Joshua, Nathan, Tatiana and Miguel; her great-nieces, Angela, Xelnita, Sarita, Ariadna and Isabella; and her great-nephew Nelson Jose. She was also cherished by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to UM Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center in Norma's name.
