He is survived by: his wife Alina; his children, Katherine Sardina (Rudy) and Kenneth Borges (Paola); his mother Irma; his siblings, Arlene, Olga and Chevy; his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Priscilla, Melissa, Naixy, Giselle, Monica, Luiva, Amanda, Jorge, Justin and Alexander; and his grandchildren, Valerie, Sebastian and Nathan.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Glioblastoma Foundation.
