She was predeceased by: her parents, Astley Slyfield and Blanche Cork-Slyfield of Falmouth; her husband Arthur Reginald Smith; and her son Patrick Smith. She is survived by: her children, Steve Smith, Michele Thomas (Leroy), Angela Hughes (Steven) and Marlene Smith. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great- grandchildren, 2 sisters -in-law and several nieces and nephews.
