She was predeceased by: her husband Leroy Smiley; and her granddaughter Nicole Spain. She is survived by: her children, Joann Spain (Rochell), Gary Ferguson (Rhonda), Beverly Barnes (Robert) and Lynn Fluellen; her brother James Rutherford (Joyce); her niece Jean Darby; her nephews, Chad Thomas, Neville Minnis (Chantelle), Jeffery and Jerome Rutherford; her grandchildren, Keenan Woods, April, Adonna Ferguson, John Fluellen (Stephanie), Christopher Barnes (Brionna), Rochell Jr. (Tiffany), Stacey, Barzelais Escarment Kenya Powell (Meche), Darryl Whitfield, Charlene Powell, Chasity, Chad Jr. Thomas and Melissa Beresford; and her great grandchildren, Norajane, Cario Barnes, Keenan Woods Jr., Roshod, Rolaun, Rachel, Antwane Spain, Gianni Fluellen Nevach, Maki and Nayani Minnis. She is also survived by cousins, relatives, and friends.
