He is survived by: his brother Willie; his significant other Mary; his children, Samuel, Israel Jr., Patricia, Eddie (Liz), Connie (Noah), Kim Rosalyn (Robert) and Bridget; his grandchildren, Damien (Shan), D'Armon (Erin), Ya'Nette (Maurice), Andre, Eddie Jr., Tatiana "Smiley", La'Vonte, Jasmyne, Kameron, Kyle and P. S.; his siblings-in-law, Betty Ann Thomas, Linda F. Royster, Wanda Gause and George Stanley; his son-in-law Horace Parker, Jr.; and his godchildren, Willie Flowers (LaShawn), Joel L. Ramsey, Aiesha Ferguson-Thompkins and Virginia Flowers. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other sorrowing relatives and many friends.
